Fyxer AI needed to know if cold email could actually carry a growth number before they bet demo day on it. Revlution proved the channel with a $1K/month test, then built and ran the machine that helped take Fyxer from $1M to $10M ARR in five months, sending as many as 1,923,082 cold emails a week at peak, through their $10M Series A and $30M Series B.
"Revlution helped us build and manage a cold email channel that contributed to our growth from $1M to $10M in just five months. They managed the full technical complexity of large-scale email operations (sending 1,923,082 cold emails per week) with clear reporting, accurate attribution, and minimal management overhead from our side."
Fyxer AI was moving from an executive assistant service to an AI SaaS product. Before going all in, Co-Founder and CRO Archie Hollingsworth wanted to answer one question: is cold email actually a viable channel for Fyxer? The whole Fyxer story: how a $1K/month consulting engagement turned into a machine sending 8.8M emails/month and driving $4.3M/year in pipeline, and how that work shaped Revlution's current Series A and Series B plans.
Fyxer needed proof, not a pitch. We started with a small consulting engagement, about $1K/month with weekly calls, to find out whether cold email could actually work for their offer and audience before Fyxer committed further attention or budget to it.
Outcome: cold email worked for their offer and audience. Once that was proven, Archie paused the channel and went back to product and fundraising.
With demo day approaching, Archie came back with a bigger ask: could we get cold email up and running fast enough to sign up thousands of users before December? We scaled from 0 to 500K to 1M emails a month, running a pure PLG motion straight to free signup. The engagement quickly grew from a consulting service into fully managed growth generation: lead gen, validation, enrichment, campaign build, and management.
Pure PLG motion, straight to free signup, run as a fully managed channel.
Plus a ~$1M ARR enterprise client sourced from this flow, with cold email as a major contributor to Fyxer's overall growth.
This sprint is what later became Revlution's 90-day growth sprint model: a way to go from no outbound to hundreds of thousands of emails a month in weeks, not quarters.
We paused for two weeks over Christmas and New Year's. After the holidays, Fyxer wanted cold email as a full growth channel, not a side experiment, so we launched a large test. As expected with heavy testing, average performance dropped in the short term, from roughly one positive reply per 4,753 emails to one per 7,300. We hadn't set expectations up front for how ugly testing would look, and it triggered a cancellation notice from Fyxer's team. Internally, their CAC for this channel looked like it had almost doubled overnight.
After the cancellation notice, we showed Fyxer the data on the top 5 variants, all of which outperformed the old control, and moved to a fully performance-based arrangement with 3:1 LTV:CAC protection, while our fees ended up higher in practice. In effect, Fyxer got an early version of the model Revlution still uses: a fixed high-volume sprint first, then a pure performance deal once the machine is proven.
We then pushed the top 5 campaigns live. The following month:
Fyxer's LTV:CAC was implicitly guaranteed and the campaigns were now 5x more effective, so Fyxer was happy to keep going on the new performance model.
Everything built with Fyxer became the basis for Revlution's current offer. They got the prototype; we later turned it into cleaner terms for the clients who came after. Over the following months we turned the machine into a segmented, evergreen system.
We turned segments like this into evergreen campaign pillars that cycled every two months, then built many more pillars just like it.
Revlution's comfort scaling with Fyxer is why we still take custom scale conversations for companies sending millions of emails a month and charging as high as six figures in single months, all on a performance plan.
Some companies want more than us running the channel for them. They start at extreme volume and have their internal team trained and implemented alongside us. Custom scale is for companies that need more volume than the Series B starting point, a custom send plan based on TAM, proof, and deliverability, and training and implementation with your team so you can own more of the machine over time. If you're already at scale and want to operate more like Fyxer did in their peak months, ask about custom scale on your intro call. We'll assess your current scale and whether a custom volume plan makes sense.
We wrapped with Fyxer as they headed into their next product phase. As they prepared for it, one of Fyxer's key product features was blocking cold emails. Their founders and investors felt it no longer made sense to keep cold email as a major acquisition channel while selling a product that helps users stop it. By our final day, Fyxer was sending 8.8M emails a month, with clear room to scale toward a 66M/month TAM target. The channel was still far from fully optimized; our estimates show that if we'd kept increasing volume, Fyxer would have had a $32M ARR cold email machine, fully managed and hands off.
"Revlution helped us build and manage a cold email channel that contributed to our growth from $1M to $10M in just five months."

"This is what makes the Revlution team world class: they managed the full technical complexity of large-scale email operations (sending 1,923,082 cold emails per week). It required minimal management overhead from our side; we could trust them to do an outstanding job. They adapted pricing models as our needs evolved, pivoted targeting strategies based on performance data, scaled operations when needed for specific campaigns, handled copywriting, data analytics, and campaign strategy, managed the entire technical stack and infrastructure, and allowed us to treat this as a managed channel."

"Cold email became a very effective channel in our growth mix as we scaled to $10M in ARR. It contributed meaningfully to our pipeline and helped us reach users who might not have found us through other channels."

"For founders considering cold email, look for partners who can handle the operational complexity, adapt to your changing needs, and integrate well with your broader growth strategy. The Revlution team delivered on these fronts."

We'll pressure-test your TAM and economics, and tell you straight if it doesn't pencil out. If it's a fit, we'll outline your TAM and economics, your LTV:CAC targets, and the exact infrastructure and testing plan, whether that's the Series B flat plan or the higher-volume custom scale track. If it's not a fit, we'll tell you directly.
